Ashley du Preez challenges Kaizer Chiefs to come good against Richards Bay

Kaizer Chiefs forward Ashley du Preez says nothing less than three points will do against struggling Richards Bay on Sunday.

Amakhosi are enduring a tough DStv Premiership campaign and head into this weekend's league clash in eighth place.

They have not won a game in their last four encounters, since defeating Golden Arrows in March, losing three and drawing once while failing to score in their last three outings.

The Natal Rich Boyz are 13 points worse off in 15th place with just four wins all season.

Leading up to the tie, Du Preez has called on his team to put their best foot forward and emerge from the King Zwelithini Stadium with a much-needed win.

The player explained in the Sowetan: "My form at the moment, I think I can do way better. I do get a lot of chances each game and the last time I scored was in the derby.

"That was a very good boost for me and I can look back at that game and go to Durban against Richards Bay to do the same thing, creating chances and convert them.

"Knowing Richards Bay are not in a good position on the log, we are going to Durban to get maximum points and we haven't won in a long time, so we as team we are looking forward to the game.

"We need to fight as a team to not concede and score goals and that's the only way we can win the game."
