The world champions bowled out the tourists for just 86 in 24.1 overs after winning the toss at Manuka Oval.
Xavier Bartlett took four for 21, with Lance Morris and Adam Zampa chipping in with two wickets apiece, with the Windies' top score coming from opener Alick Athanaze (32).
Australia then chased down the target in less than seven overs, with Jake Fraser-McGurk hitting 41 off 18 balls and opening partner Josh Inglis finishing unbeaten on 35 off 16 balls, to claim a 3-0 series victory.
Steve Smith's side won with a mammoth 259 balls remaining to make it the sixth shortest men's ODI in history, with the day/night fixture finished long before sunset.
