The Royals claimed a six-wicket win over table-topping MI Cape Town to seal a second victory at Boland Park on Wednesday night.
Speaking at a post-match presser, Miller says the teams wanted sweet revenge with the bat after losing to the same team on Monday.
"Everyone tries their level best to win every game but the way that we played the first game and this game is kind of our blueprint. We just wanna really, especially at home we kind of knuckling down and understanding our roles really well,” Miller said.
“So, I think the, not the challenge, I think the chat would be from playing away from home how we gonna go about that but look it was great to kind of put on a performance like that. Our batting display two days ago was not the greatest and we rectified that very quickly."
Teenage sensation Lhuan dre-Pretorius played a crucial role in helping the Royals earn bragging rights in the Cape derby, scoring a half-century, with three sixes and eight boundaries from 52-balls.
Millers says the youngster has brought something special to the team.
"He is a phenomenal talent, really special to have him on the team. I mean there are a lot of young players that have come through in the years and I just think he's something very special,” he added.
“I haven't seen a lot of young players play the way that he does, just the free flow, the bat flow, he plays very light, he plays short ball really well, he plays spin well and yeah, he's a really good thinker about the game.
“So, it's great to have him as part of the setup and obviously contributing and putting match-winning performances for us, so very lucky to have him."
