Proteas Down Under: South Africa's white ball tour to Australia confirmed

The Proteas will embark on a short tour of Australia in August, playing three T20 Internationals and three One Day Internationals on the east coast.

Notably, this tour will not include any Test matches. However, the white ball tour is scheduled to follow South Africa's highly anticipated World Test Championship final against Australia in England.

Cricket Australia revealed that the series will mark the return of international cricket to Darwin after a 17-year hiatus. Matches will also be hosted in Cairns and Mackay.

Outgoing Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley highlighted the excitement around the upcoming fixtures, stating: "We smashed many records for attendance, viewing audiences, and digital engagement last summer, and we're confident that this incredible momentum will continue throughout what promises to be an engrossing season."
