The South African national team gathered in Tshwane on Monday for a specialised training camp at the CSA Centre of Excellence, expected to run until Thursday.
The experienced seamer says all is going well at the camp and the team is working on specifics that will identify what they aim to achieve during the World Cup.
''I must say that this camp is so crucial, leading to the World Cup in Bangladesh. In these couple of days, we will work on what we aim to achieve at the World Cup and everyone must have their plans in order,'' said Klaas.
The Proteas are building from their recent tour in India, where interim coach Dillion du Preez's first assignment failed to live up to expectations following a 3-0 ODI series defeat in Chennai.
Klaas says the team has picked up lessons from that experience and know exactly what to rectify ahead of the world showpiece.
''Obviously we take it one game at a time, and if we have one win on our back - we still need to focus on the second and the third game. But like I said we take it one game at a time, if we win one game, we have to contain ourselves to focus on the next game and not get ahead of ourselves,'' she added.
The 33-year-old further shared with SABC Sport details on their daily routine at CSA Centre of Excellence.
''Obviously when we still continue with our gym program that we got from our conditioning coach, where we have slots. You wake up early and do your gym, before coming here to do your bowling, then lunch and back to the bowling routine,'' she concluded.
Missing out on this crucial preparatory camp is all-rounder Nadine de Klerk as she is currently undergoing rehabilitation from an Achilles injury that occurred in India, as well as captain Laura Wolvaardt, Marizanne Kapp and Chloé Tryon - they are all participating in the Hundred competition in England.
