Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rulani Mokwena was evasive when asked about the future of striker Kermit Erasmus, whose jersey number has been given to newly signed Chilean attacker Marcelo Allende.
Mokwena says the clubs management has not given clarity on whether Erasmus, signed from Cape Town City for a reported figure of more than R10-million, will be moving on from Chloorkop.

In his attempt to play down the fact that Erasmus, if he does indeed remains a Sundowns player after being stripped of his jersey, Mokwena indicated that the allocations of numbers at the club has also changed for other players too.
"I am the wrong person to ask, the club will give you the information on that, but ask why he played as 10 and what are the movements that we need-thats beautiful, the administrative thing? I am the wrong person to talk to, sorry" said Mokwena.

"Lot of numbers have also changed, so youve seen different numbers in different players but we havent asked that question before".
"Rushine [De Reuck], I think is wearing a different number, Tebza [Teboho Mokoena] is also wearing a different number, but the club will make that communication, there is still some time, the club will make announcement in due course"
