The South African Football Association (SAFA) Elective Congress has concluded that incumbent Danny Jordaan will retain the presidency for another term of four years.
Jordaan will remain the boss of national football until 2026, following an overwhelming majority vote by the association's members at the Elective Congress held at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Saturday.
He amassed a total of 186 votes, while former vice-president Ria Ledwaba managed just 27 votes and Tshwane regional president Solly Mohlabeng tallied only eight votes.

Jordaan will thus serve as SAFA head for a third term since being voted into power back in 2013, stretching his rein to at least 13 years, despite turning 71 years old in September this year.
The Elective Congress has been marred with attempts to have the courts postpone the event, however, three interdict applications were thrown out in the past two weeks as various applicants were left unsuccessful in their hopes to stop the re-election of the Gqeberha-born administrator, who has been the overwhelming favourite among the three candidates.
The new SAFA vice president is yet to be confirmed, while the National Executive Committee members are also expected to be confirmed before Congress is brought to a close.
