Ahead of Orlando Pirates visit to the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday afternoon to face SuperSport United, defender Thulani Hlatshwayo insists he has nothing to prove against his former side.
Tyson has been given a fresh start - hes previously told SABC Sport that the last six months or so of his stint with the Buccaneers, having joined them from Bidvest Wits in 2020, were the lowest of his career to date.
The two parties agreed to a mutual termination of his contract in June, allowing him to join Matsatsantsa as a free agent.

At the time he made that statement Hlatshwayo did not know coming up against his ex-teammates would happen so soon.
We know its my former team and I know them, but theres no other feeling other than to take it as another game. I am at SuperSport United now and given a chance I need to make sure I use it and I dont have a point to prove against my former team, he told the public broadcasters sports desk this week.
With coach Gavin Hunt, the Tshwane outfit, three-time league winners between 2008 to 2010, are rebuilding and Hlatshwayo is one of a handful of experienced players.
I have seen that this team has a lot of talent. Coach Gavin said when he won the league with this team, during the Anthony Laffor era, they were younger. But when he compares, the talent he has now is also young and much better. So, theres a lot of potential and talent that we should guide them as senior players, the ex-Bafana Bafana skipper explains.

He also knows what Hunt wants even though SuperSport have had a tepid start to the 2022/23 season and now face an improving Pirates side.
Theres history between me and coach Gavin and I wouldnt say our start has been rocky¦its just the way we have conceded the goals. I think we have started the games well, Hlatshwayo added.
But to have only got one point from three games means the only way to get better is to start picking up [more] points. We started well against Chippa [season opener], but we conceded a lot of goals, but we trust that the coach in moving forward and getting the best out of us.
