Former SAFA Vice-President Ria Ledwaba says she is not disappointed after losing out on the presidential race but will not rest until the re-elected Danny Jordaan is out of football.

Ledwaba was speaking after losing the presidential elections to Jordaan, who pulled off a landslide victory with 186 votes to Ledwaba™s 27 and Solly Mohlebang™s eight.

In what was one of the most bitterly contested SAFA elections since the country™s return to international football in 1991, Ledwaba says she™s not giving up on getting rid of Jordaan yet.

Having previously said that Jordaan is not good for the future of the organization and the game in the country, she emphasized those points after the elections.

"I don't think he's good for our football. I believe that he has done his part, he has done [what he could] for all these years he has been in football," Ledwaba told the media on Saturday.

"But I think you cannot have football be a one-man show. That is the truth, they can say whatever they say but, the bottom line is that's how he rules at the association.

"If you look at the delegates, they are chosen by their regions - they choose their leaders to be voted [for] but then you come to the congress and you are asked to withdraw your name.

"On what mandate do you withdraw your name at the congress, when you have been voted for by the region out there.

"I believe that when people are nominated, they must come to the congress and the congress must decide like they decided today."

Asked whether she will be leaving SA football after earlier being declared ineligible for a seat on the national executive committee, she said: "No, I'm not. You're going to hear a lot from me. Until Dr. Jordaan is out of football, I will not rest."
