Golden Arrows coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi believes his side is still a work in progress in the DStv Premiership.
The Kwa-Zulu Natal-based outfit mentor was encouraged by the efforts of his boys after they lost 2-1 to log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in the Premiership at the Tuks Stadium last night.
Arrows were strong defensively, conceding a penalty and an own goal costing them the point.
Captain Thabani Zuke fouled Peter Shalulile to concede a penalty in the first half converted by Shalulile. An own goal by Siyavuya Ndlovu cancelled out Pule Mmodis equalizer.
But Vilakazi is not happy with their start to their league campaign, which leaves them in 12th place with eight points from seven matches, and wants them to fight and put more effort into their league games.
We didnt start on a good note, obviously we lost the first two games but the third one we played draw, the fourth we played draw and what I said to the players there is nothing with playing draw but we must complement it with adding three points, which is why we won the two games and then we sat on eight points.
We are on eight points now because of those two draws and the six points that we got".
"I must say now that its not something that we can say we are comfortable with or we are in the comfortable zone now, we still have to work because if you see the points, other teams were under us.
One win it will take us back there again so we must fight we must still focus on our next game and try to get the three points, said Vilakazi.
