The NSA board elections, set for October next year, could see Molokwane once again vying for the top position in South African netball.
Having already served two terms, in an interview with SABC Sport, Molokwane kept her intentions closely guarded.
"I really have to think about that. I need growth, I need a lot of things. I'm a person who doesn't believe in being in one area for a very long time, until people don't want you," responded Molokwane.
"You must leave when people still want you, so that they can remember you."
Molokwane, first elected in 2017, played a pivotal role in South Africa hosting the 2023 Netball World Cup – which stands out as her most significant achievement in her tenure.
As her current term nears its end, she remains noncommittal about whether she will seek a third term in office.
"It was in 2017 when I was elected on 28 October – I won't forget the day, and then I was re-elected in 2021, and people had hope in me," she added.
"I was contested by Miss Mpumi Javu, and I think the numbers [of votes] were too high, and it shows that people still have faith in you.
"I don't know, I don't want to say I will stand or I won't stand, I'll hear from the people. Remember, when the people are happy, you will see it, and if they are not happy, you will also see – you'll know when to exit."
