The squad sees a balanced blend of youth and experience, with seven players set to make their Netball World Cup debuts at the global spectacle set to be staged on African soil for the first time.
Plummer retained captain Bongi Msomi while naming Karla Pretorius as vice-captain, along with senior players Shadine van der Merwe, Ine-Marie Venter, Phumza Maweni, Khanyisa Chawane, Lenize Potgieter, and Izette Griesel.
Those set for a first taste of World Cup action include 23-year-old Nicola Smith, Jeante Strydom, Owethu Ngubane, Nicholé Taljaard, Elmere van der Berg, Refiloe Nketsa, and Lefebre Rademan.
“We have been in camp since May 7th, and I believe that we have worked very hard with the players at our disposal. We have had some technical and tactical aspects of the game put to the players and at their game," said Plummer.
"We managed to get some practice matches in as well, so that we are sure we have chosen the best 15 players (12 traveling and 3 reserves), which we believe are the best options."
The Cape Town International Convention Centre is set to host the action from July 28 to August 6, with South Africa pitted alongside Wales, Sri Lanka and Jamaica in Pool C.
