South Africa's Cameron Saaiman added to UFC 285 card

Rising UFC star Cameron Saaiman will get another opportunity to impress on a stacked UFC 285 card on 4 March.

Taking to social media on Tuesday, the bantamweight contender revealed he will be facing American Mana Martinez under the bright lights of Las Vegas.

Saaiman - dubbed "The Future" by UFC overlord Dana White for his exploits in his Contender Series -  last fought on the early preliminary card at UFC 282 in December.

The Pretoria native was in a bit of strife early on, getting a point deducted for an illegal knee. But he came back strong to earn a memorable TKO late in the final round, taking his MMA record to 7-0.

Another South African on the card is Dricus du Plessis, who looks set to fight on the main card against perennial middleweight contender Derek Brunson. Du Plessis is coming off a Fight of the Night performance against Darren Till at UFC 282, where he submitted the Englishman.

The main card at UFC 285 will headline with the highly anticipated return of superstar Jon Jones, who will fight Cyril Gane for the heavyweight strap.
