Xaba's impressive run of form includes four podium finishes in a single month, highlighted by victories in the Spar Women’s 10km Challenge in Tshwane and the Total Sports Women’s 10km race, as well as a second-place finish in Durban.
She also claimed victory in the Absa Run Your City Tshwane 10km race last week.
Currently leading the Grand Prix Series leaderboard with two races remaining, Xaba is just one win away from securing the series title, which includes a R200,000 prize and a brand-new car.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Xaba credited Semenya for helping her reach the peak of her career.
"It’s to train very hard and stay consistent and believe in yourself and listen to your coaches. They are such good coaches, they motivate athletes to do very well. I work with Caster and we are working on our five-year plan so it shows that we're on the right track now," Xaba said.
Her top goal for the year is to secure the Grand Prix series title, a victory she has been diligently pursuing with the support of her coaches, Violet Raseboya and Caster Semenya.
On September 21 and 24, Xaba will compete in the Spar Women’s 10km Grand Prix race in Gqeberha and the Absa Run Your City 10km in Johannesburg on Heritage Day.
She is determined to win both events. She attributes her strong performance to a supportive network and her dedicated focus during training.
"I think it's because I focus a lot, I'm not even skipping training, even when I'm tired I just go easy and recover all the time. I'm just glad that I have a good system that supports me and keep me to stay injury free and stay very healthy,” she added.
“Power To Health is there for me and my sponsor, Puma takes care of me because I always had injuries because of my shoes. So, now I have stable shoes because the sponsor is always there for me."
