Golden fireballs continue to dominate Telkom Netball League

The Gauteng Golden Fireballs have continued with their impressive form in the Telkom Netball League. The Fireballs are on top of Division One of the competition having won all their five matches in the first round of the tournament.

The Dr. Elsje Jordaan™s led side also beat rivals, Gauteng Jaguars on their way to the top. The Fireballs closed the first round with a convincing 54-30 victory over KZN™s Kingdom Stars.

Even though the team won, Jordaan was not happy with her team™s performance.

œJah look I wasn™t completely happy with the effort, I thought our last quarter we just lost urgency and we made a lot of basic errors-going with one hand for catches staff like that

œbut it™s a win and we have completed the first round on top of the log and that™s what we wanted to achieve so it™s about going back next week see how we can improve and manage our own energy in the court said Jordaan.

Being the team at the top means the Fireballs are on everyone™s radar and Jordaan said they have to make sure they keep fighting to stay at the top.
