''I am running on Sunday in Durban, I am excited for it. If I can come top five, I would be very happy. But the mileage has been high, and I have been training hard,'' said Van Zyl.

''Week left, so we can't temper this race. I will be running on tired legs, then I will be racing in Mbombela,'' added Van Zyl.

Van Zyl is eagerly anticipating the competition in Durban where she will face three-time Grand Prix winner Tadu Nare of Ethiopia and 2018 champion Glenrose Xaba, among others.
