SA’s September takes charge of key CAF role

South African-born football administrator Luxolo September has assumed one of the most senior roles at Africa™s governing body CAF.

SABC Sport can reveal that September has been given the role of turning around CAF's TV Department - the lifeblood of the organisation.

September, who has been the Head of Media and Operations at CAF for the last 14 months, has impressed during his tenure and his work ethic and innovative ideas in that short period have resulted in the promotion.

Media rights is a multi-billion rand industry all over the world, and this responsibility needs someone with broad shoulders, which September has proven he has.
