The Northern Cape-based star is part of the 15-member squad selected by coach Jenny van Dyk, which departed for the Caribbean on Friday night for the three-match series from 18-25 January.
The fifth-ranked Proteas will face the third-ranked Sunshine Girls at the National Indoor Sports Centre in a highly anticipated test match, and Visser, a Baby Proteas graduate, is looking forward to stepping in for experienced vice-captain Karla Pretorius.
"I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to represent the Proteas for the first time. Competing in Jamaica this January is an incredible opportunity, and it’s the culmination of all the hard work I’ve put in throughout my life," Visser told SABC Sport.
"Wearing the national colours and representing my country is truly a dream come true. I am deeply grateful for the trust placed in me and I am eager to give my absolute best.
Visser dedicated her call-up to all the young players and everyone who has supported her throughout her netball journey.
"This is not just a personal achievement; it reflects the support and sacrifices of everyone who has been part of my journey. I'm ready to embrace this experience to the fullest," she noted.
As the only player in the squad yet to earn a senior debut, Visser, will now experience netball at the highest level, with the Proteas headed to the United Kingdom to compete in the Vitality Nations Cup against England, Uganda, and Malawi after the Jamaica tour.
