Kolisi calls for better Boks discipline

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi has highlighted the importance of putting out a disciplined display as they look to bounce back in their next Rugby Championship Text against Australia.

The Wallabies welcome the Boks to the Adelaide Oval on Saturday (7:30am SA time) and will also be looking to return to winning ways following their defeat away to Argentina two weeks ago.

Similarly, South Africa lost to New Zealand on home soil and are eager to pick themselves up, with Kolisi weary of the threat posed by the hosts.

œAll our attention has been on Australia in the last two weeks and we also looked at their matches against Argentina, so we know what to expect from them, said Kolisi in the pre-game press conference.

œWe have prepared well, we know what they are going to bring, and we know what we must improve on going into the game, so it™s going to be a big challenge.

The reigning World Cup-winning skipper further stressed his side's need to fix their discipline issues which saw them squander several points in the loss to the All Blacks at Emirates Airline Park earlier this month.

œWe had a meeting with the referee (Paul Williams from New Zealand), and we understand what he is looking for in the match, and as a team discipline will be key," he added.

œWe™ve conceded about seven penalties a match in the last few games, and we know it is going to be a vital area given the small margins in Test rugby, so the entire squad knows that they have to stay disciplined for the full 80 minutes.
