Roos enjoyed an outstanding performance in their last Olympics match against Fiji, where she earned a personal contribution of 16 points and ended as South Africa’s top points’ scorer.
She told SABC Sport that South African talent deserves the exposure in world stages, and hopes the team will return for the next Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
"I will also look at some options to maybe go overseas again, look at some opportunities there. So, my focus will turn around that as well to see what options I have, you know where's availability to go to a club or so," Roos said.
"If there's an opportunity of going to the next Olympic Games, you know the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. I will also look into it as a long term plan, how to be part of that and how to make the team successful. So, coming into those big events and hopefully as 7s World Cup as well."
The South African women’s sevens team had a tough run at the Paris Games winning only one in five matches - when they wrapped their maiden Olympics with a 21 -15 win over Fiji, with Roos playing a crucial role to impact the win, scoring two tries.
"I think for me always showing up as an individual in a team, it just shows my readiness for a game. So, for me it's really important to just pitch for every game, everytime that I set my foot out on the field,” she added.
“The two tries, it's either I had someone in space or I had the ability to finish the tries off myself and for me, it's just playing with my head up, open eyes rugby."
