Latsha joined the Halerquins from Western Province for what will now be her second stint in Europe, after previously turning out for Spanish side Eibar.
Harlequins are one of the most recognised clubs in the world, and speaking to SABC Sport, Latsha says the impact the club has on women's rugby made her decision to join them a lot easier.
"What personally attracted me to this club is that it has a rich history of rugby and women's rugby. It's an incredible environment with great people, which creates a great space for me to thrive and flourish," she said.
Latsha was one of the standout figures for South Africa at the 2021 Women’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand, where they lost all three group matches to France, Fiji and England.
However, the Khayelitsha-born star explains that’s when the interest in her services began showing.
"The Harlequins showed interest after the World Cup and they got into contact. Then the ball was set in motion to come this side," she added.
The 2020/21 champions are currently fourth on the Premiership log with seven wins in eleven games in the league.
And Latsha has set her sights on helping them reach that winner’s podium once again.
"What I would mark a successful season is me being at my very best at every opportunity that I get, that ultimately contributes to the success of the club and its campaign throughout the season," she concluded.
