Chiefs conceded two clean goals with no questions attached to them against City, but it was other incidents that got Nabi concerned.
One included Thabang Matuludi’s rough tackle on Bradley Cross, which went unpunished, and several other incidents.
Nabi says this kind of officiating is unacceptable.
"You remember the game after the game Castillo was out, I talked to the referee and everyone even the media said I was aggressive with referees. I'm not aggressive with referees, I respect referees because without referees you don't have football. But today? Ay, ay, ay, today, if I lose, I lose, it's fine, it's football but I don't want to lose because of referees," Nabi said.
Nabi, who is also under fire, as his team suffered its third defeat in eight matches in the league and dropped out of the top eight, was also quick to point out that he’s not making excuses for his team’s current results.
"It's not the first time, what do you want? Look at the action with the cross, today when you go home, look for the action with the cross, it's unacceptable. I don't want them to give me a gift because I'm respectful. I respect the opponent, I respect the referees but give me what I deserve,” the coach added.
“Also, respect the players, how many players are in the hospital? It's unacceptable. I'm not saying these things because I lost. I always have solutions, when I lose today, I will have solutions. I'm not happy because we lost, I'm not happy because the fans came today to support us. I'm not happy because we lost the three points."
Chiefs have now only won one game in their five matches in the league and dropped points in their last two, conceding fours in the process.
