Fatawu, 20, helped the Foxes earn promotion to the Premier League last term, scoring seven goals in 43 appearances while on loan from Sporting Lisbon, and Leicester have triggered an option to make the deal permanent.
"I feel amazing," Fatawu said.
"It's so good to be back and I'm just back to focus again for next season. I feel so much motivation to be in the Premier League. It's something new to me. I'm going to go hard for that, with the team.
"I can't wait to see (my team-mates). I've missed them so much. They are like a family now. I didn't think I'd miss some of them, but when I went away, I was really missing them! I can't wait to see them."
Fatawu has 19 caps for his country and played at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Burnley have announced the signing of Brazilian defender Lucas Pires on a four-year deal.
The 23-year-old arrives at Turf Moor from Santos for an undisclosed fee to become Burnley's third signing of the summer.
Pires has played over 70 games for Santos and spent last season on loan at Spanish side Cadiz, where he featured 28 times in LaLiga.
Pires told the Clarets' official website: "It's incredible for me to be here and playing in England. English football has been a dream for me ever since I was a child, it's a dream come true.
"I initially heard about the interest towards the end of last season. I was really happy to hear about it and I was quite emotional to be honest about coming here and playing for this club in England."
Flynn Downes has completed a permanent move to Southampton from West Ham on a four-year deal.
The 25-year-old made 37 appearances for Saints on loan during last season's promotion-winning campaign and has now signed a deal which will keep him at the club until at least 2028.
Downes told the club's official website: "Being a part of it last year, it was so good. The whole club, the people, I think everything about it is so special.
"I feel like when you connect with people like that, such genuine people, and I'm talking about the whole club here, it's so hard not to want to be a part of that.
"Now I just feel like I can fully settle down here, try and get better, try and play my best football here and help the team be a success."
Crystal Palace goalkeeper Joe Whitworth, who made Premier League starts against Brighton and Arsenal in March 2023, has joined League One Exeter on a season-long loan.
Glen Kamara has left Leeds after just one season to sign for Ligue 1 side Rennes.
The 28-year-old made 42 appearances last term after arriving at Elland Road from Rangers.
Kamara said on Instagram: "I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you to @leedsunited for the chance to represent this amazing club.
"It's been a short journey but definitely one that I will remember for the rest of my life. To the staff, my team-mates and of course the fans, I wish you all the best. MOT."
