Adnan Beganovic explains TS Galaxy hot streak

TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic says the squad needed confidence as well as minor tactical adjustments to turn things around.

Beganovic has been in charge of five Betway Premiership matches since his compatriot Sead Ramovic jumped ship in November.

The new coach has now managed an unbeaten run, which he discussed in an interview with SABC Sport

"Everybody thinks its instant, but I think it's not because we work hard, we prepare ourselves for every game tactically, and physically," said Beganovic.

"And in the beginning, what I wanted to change is [bringing in] some confidence, I want to put back confidence in my players to believe in ourselves and believe in the team and, ultimately, in this beautiful club.

"We have one vision and we need to follow that vision, and everyone in the club needs to push in following that vision."

Beganovic admits there’s been a fearless nature about The Rockets since moving away from the relegation zone, on the back of impressive wins over Sekhukhune United, AmaZulu and Royal AM.

"In my opinion, it's tough to actually change [much] in five games. Yes, in our team, we believe in our work, but it's tough to change conditions if, after five games, you have two points.

"I also think we need a little bit more time to change everything to collect more points and have a better position on the log table, but when you work with your heart, I think that helps you a lot.

"We want to play football, we just want to present our work and what we prepare in the training sessions in the seven days before [the match]."
