Golden Arrows defender and captain Nkosinathi Sibisi is ready for a fresh start, his agent has told SABC Sport.
Theres growing interest for the Bafana Bafana centre-back with both Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns heavily linked with the player.
But Mike Makaab of Prosport International says the decision will be taken by Arrows chairperson Mato Madlala.
Weve only had perennial discussions with Arrows as to what his next step is. Sibisi is one of the players I would like to chat to the chairlady about - in an ideal world, if theres a possibility of a good move for him, hed like that, explained Makaab to SABC Sport.
But again, he is contracted to Arrows, he is their captain and he is happy at the club. Its not that he is unhappy at the club, its just that sometimes in a players career, he is looking for new challenges and a new environment - that is the case with Sibisi.
The 26-year-old is currently with Bafana ahead of their opening 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Morocco on Thursday and, with the transfer window only officially opening on 1 July, a move away from the Durban-based side isnt likely to happen before then.
But our starting point would have to be me sitting with the chairlady to discuss his future going forward. I have always had an open and transparent relationship with the majority of club bosses, I dont approach anything with a hidden agenda and I think they appreciate that, Makaab added.
That is why I have been in the industry for 24 years. You cannot survive if you are not open and transparent - once I understand what direction to take, thats when I will involve the player.
Abafana Bes'thende on Wednesday confirmed the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs striker Ryan Moon, who joins on a free transfer after leaving Swedish side Varbergs BoIs earlier this year.
