The Limpopo-born player is part of the 23 players selected for the fixtures against the West Africans to be played away from home tomorrow and next Tuesday.
The likes of Jermaine Seoposenwe, Thembi Kgatlana, Refiloe Jane, Noko Matlou and Andile Dlamini are among the regulars missing from the current team, but Motau believes this is a good opportunity for the new faces to show their worth.
"There are obviously new faces in the team, which is a good thing, since we're starting a new rotation, hopefully, to qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup," said Motau.
"So it's good that we have new faces and more young players in the team, and I think right now is the right time for the team to do that, so this game will be another game to test us, help us grow and get chemistry as a team.
"Having 11 players missing can be a good thing, it can give an opportunity to those who want to raise their hands, as the coach always says, so I see it as a good opportunity for the new players."
Motau has never faced Senegal but is clued up on what to expect, warning they should not try to match the 2022 WAFCON quarter-finalists physically, but instead play their own passing game.
"What I know is that, with West African teams, they're obviously taller and stronger than us, so ours is not to have a physical battle with them, but to play the ball and rotate it on the floor," she noted.
"And hopefully we can get the better of them by doing that, but we've been preparing well in the days we've had in camp, so I think the team is well prepared."
