Despite facing challenges in the Premier League, the 21-year-old forward is said to be committed to FC Barcelona, especially under the stewardship of new manager Hansi Flick.
Returning to his roots, Fati has expressed gratitude for his time at Brighton but emphasized his joy in reuniting with his beloved La Liga club.
Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, he affirmed, "It was a great experience at Brighton, but being back home with my family and playing for Barca is where my heart is."
Having been part of Barcelona's youth setup since the age of 10, Fati's aspirations remain focused on succeeding at the club. Reflecting on his journey, he said, "Since I set foot here at 10, my goal has been to make it big at Barça. Despite the challenges, it's all part of the game."
Despite setbacks due to injuries, Fati exuded confidence in his abilities and physical condition. "I'm at my peak now, having put in the work because I believe there's always room for improvement," he asserted, highlighting his resilience.
Despite being absent from the Catalan dressing room last season, Fati stayed connected with his teammates. Acknowledging the club's challenges, he remains optimistic, stating, "Every setback is a lesson, and we strive to do better each season."
Looking forward to the upcoming campaign under Flick's guidance, Fati said that he is hopeful. "I met him during his visit to Brighton. I wish him success; he's taking charge of the greatest club, and I'm confident he'll excel," Fati remarked.
As Fati returns to Barcelona, he brings a renewed determination to succeed at his childhood club. With Flick leading the way, the stage is set for Fati to illuminate once again in the iconic Blaugrana colours.
