Club-record signing Evanilson set the Cherries on course for a maiden home success of the campaign by volleying his first goal in English football before Dango Ouattara doubled the lead in fortuitous fashion.
Semenyo, who was involved in the opening two finishes, impressively rifled in his third strike of the campaign to stretch the advantage in the 39th minute.
He received a pass from the wing, displayed impressive footwork to weave past multiple Southampton defenders, and unleashed a low, driven shot that found the back of the net.
The goal not only extended Bournemouth's lead but also showcased Semenyo's attacking prowess.
In his post-match interview, Semenyo expressed his excitement but remained humble about his effort, saying, "I just tried to create some space and shoot, really. I got enough space, hit it hard and low, and it trickled in.
"So I'm happy. I caught the defenders off guard, a chop, and like I said, I just wanted to create space and get a shot away. I did, and it went in."
Semenyo's recent performances have put him in excellent form, making him a strong candidate for Ghana's squad for the October international break, as coach Otto Addo looks set to name his team soon.
