Chiefs were drawn against Pirates after beating Royal Am 2-1 in their quarterfinal clash in Chartsworth Stadium.
Amakhosi won 1-0 against Pirates in the last Soweto Derby through Olisa Ndah's 89th-minute own goal.
"There's a lot at stake, once you meet Pirates you are expected to be on top of them. I think the excitement comes from knowing that we are playing Pirates which is also doing well. That will be good for South African football as well because Pirates is doing well and we are also finding our way up," he said.
Zwane says he prefers to face Bucs at FNB Stadium, with belief that such games should go to bigger venues to attract a huge number of fans and avoid stampedes.
"The capacity when you look at FNB Stadium, they will always manage a game of that magnitude. People will be coming from different provinces, so I don't think other stadiums have got the capacity to carry the numbers. We don't want to go back to the days when we had stampedes. I'm not saying we should go to FNB but as things stand, FNB will be suitable for such a big game," he added.
Zwane has also stressed the importance of playing in CAF competitions, as they now have a chance to do so if they win the Nedbank Cup.
Mangethe says playing in Africa is one of their main goals.
"What is important for us is to think about playing in the Champions League, think about playing in Africa as that will help our players to grow, especially the young ones. That's the target, we got the opportunity today and we have to go all the way to the final. We have to push ourselves, so at least we can be able to kill two birds with one stone," he concluded.
