AmaZulu FC ended its hunt for a new coach following the appointment of former Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane, who will co-coach with Vusumuzi Vilakazi.
Vilakazi has been promoted from the DDC team.
Both coaches come with great experience in developing some of the current best players in Betway Premiership, the likes of Njabulo Blom, Mduduzi Tshabalala at Kaizer Chiefs and Nkosinathi Sibisi, Thabani Zuke who have worked with Kanu at Golden Arrows youth structures.
Usuthu president Sandile Zungu believes their experience in playing and developing young talent will be crucial in taking the club to another level.
“Their combined experience as both coaches and former players will be crucial in guiding our team, in their task ahead,” Zungu said.
Usuthu announced last Monday that they were partying ways with former coach Pablo Franco Martins after a very challenging six months for the Spanish mentor, who joined the club with high expectations.
