In the two matches Likuena played, Notsi led them to an impressive 2-0 win over Zimbabwe and suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Rwanda a few days later, with both games hosted in South Africa due to poor facilities in Lesotho.
Notsi is adamant there is plenty to ponder with six more matches to go in a group that also includes Bafana Bafana, Benin and Nigeria.
''There are a lot of positives that came out of this match on our side. Like I said on the previous interview before the game, we are a working progress - the manner in which our boys conducted themselves under pressure, we are satisfied with the way we are taking our matches in terms of performance,'' said Notsi.
Prior to Tuesday night’s game in Durban, Lesotho were sitting top of Group C and could have ended this round of qualifiers at the summit with a win.
One of the things Notsi wants to work on is their attack.
''We managed to absorb the pressure that they gave us, we started playing. I think there was a lot of anxiety, the anxiety level on some of our players especially upfront - whereby we had goalscoring opportunities but you could see that we were not clinical,'' added Notsi.
Lesotho face Bafana only in March next year and Notsi is expected to try keep the bulk of the team in the upcoming COSAFA Cup later this month.
It’s there that he plans to improve on the frailties exposed in their second half display against Rwanda earlier this week.
Notsi added that one of the positives was how Lesotho reacted in the second half, although perhaps it was too little too late.
