Rayadas are now through to the semi-finals where they will face Pachuca Femenil, who brushes aside Leon 5-1 on aggregate.
This was Seoposenwe’s ninth goal – she scored eight in the regular phase of the season, adding one in the play-offs.
FC Monterrey and Pachuca will face off in a two-legged semi-final on Thursday and Sunday.
In the other quarterfinal match, South Africa’s Thembi Kgatlana was an unused substitute as U.A.N.L Tigres advanced to the last four, courtesy of a 2-1 aggregate victory over a stubborn FC Juarez. Tigres claimed a 1-nil win in the first leg with the second leg ending 1-all.
The result set up a mouthwatering semi-final clash between Kgatlana’s side and Club America who beat Guadalajara Chivas 2-nil and 4-1 (6-1 aggregate) in the quarterfinals.
The two teams also meet on Thursday and Friday.
In the last three seasons, the play-offs title has been decided between bitter rivals, Tigres and Monterrey, and it will be interesting to see if Guadalajara and Pachuca can put an end to the dominance.
Last year Seoposenwe played in the same tournament in the colours of FC Juarez but were knocked out in the first round, while Kgatlana is making her maiden appearance in the play-offs.
The tournament marks the end of the season.
