Barcelona sporting director Deco: It's impossible to replace Gavi

The teen sensation recently tore his anterior cruciate ligament and is set for a year on the sidelines prompting some to suggest Barca would be in the market in January with Tottenham midfiedler Giovani Lo Celso being identified among a list of reported targets.

And Deco believes it is 'impossible' to fill the void left by Gavi.

"It's impossible to replace Gavi. There's no player on the market with his skills, his mentality," said Deco.

"It's wrong to discuss about replacing Gavi as it's not possible. We will not find a replacement in January."
