Leroy Sane and Harry Kane were the stars of the show, each contributing with goals and an assist.
The Bavarians have sent a clear message to rivals Bayer Leverkusen, currently managed by Xabi Alonso. Bayern maintain their lead at the top of the Bundesliga, keeping a four-point advantage over Leverkusen.
Bayern got off to a flying start against Hoffenheim in Munich, securing the match within the first 26 minutes.
Vincent Kompany's squad, who have not buckled under the pressure from Leverkusen, delivered a near-perfect first half. The team did not concede a single chance and could have scored even more with slightly better accuracy.
Sane opened the scoring just six minutes into the game. He blasted the ball into Oliver Baumann's net after capitalising on a loose ball.
Raphael Guerreiro doubled the lead 15 minutes in, followed by Kane's 16th goal of the Bundesliga season from the penalty spot just 10 minutes later.
The second half saw no let-up from Bayern. Within two minutes of the restart, Sane scored his second of the night, outmaneuvering his marker to meet a superb cross from Mathys Tel at the far post.
The rout was completed by Serge Gnabry, who added the fifth and final goal to give Bayern the 'manita'.
Vincent Kompany commented after the match, "We knew we had to take control early, and the players executed the plan brilliantly. Sane and Kane have been exceptional, and this performance sends a strong message to our competitors."
Bayern's display not only showcased their attacking prowess but also highlighted their defensive solidity, not giving Hoffenheim a sniff at goal.
This victory is a testament to Bayern's title credentials as they look to extend their dominance in German football.
