Bayern Munich set for January decision on Kingsley Coman

Bayern Munich's summer transfer window was quiet in terms of major signings or departures.

The German champions had been interested in Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah but opted against a last-minute deal.

On the outgoing front, the club was ready to part ways with Kingsley Coman, though the French winger chose to remain in Munich despite several offers.

According to Christian Falk of Sport Bild, Bayern will reconsider Coman's future during the January transfer window, with hopes of stronger interest from Premier League clubs.

Coman, who has no intention of leaving Europe, rejected lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia and Turkey this summer, preferring to continue competing in Europe's top leagues.

Bayern's motivation to offload Coman stems from his significant wages, with the club even open to loan deals that include an option or obligation to buy.

Despite the desire to move him on, Coman has remained part of the matchday squad, featuring in all three of Bayern's competitive matches this season under Vincent Kompany.

However, Coman's minutes may reduce with Leroy Sane's return to fitness. If Coman continues to see limited game time, he could push for a transfer in January.

While he has delivered crucial moments for Bayern, including the winning goal in the 2020 Champions League final, his future in Bavaria remains uncertain.
