AmaZulu 2-1 Royal AM

AmaZulu secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Royal AM at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban.

The win saw AmaZulu rise to 11th in the league standings, while Royal AM remained 13th.

AmaZulu's Hendrick Ekstein opened the scoring in the 37th minute, capitalising on a well-timed assist from Riaan Human. Shortly after the break, Michael Mbanjwa doubled their lead in the 48th minute with a strike set up by Etiosa Ighodaro.

Royal AM responded in the 78th minute, with Lesedi Mashiane reducing the deficit, but it wasn't enough to deny AmaZulu the victory.

Both sides displayed high energy, with multiple tactical substitutions throughout the match. The game also saw several yellow cards, highlighting the competitive and tense nature of the encounter.

AmaZulu will hope this result builds momentum for their campaign as they aim to climb further up the table.

Chippa United 0-1 Cape Town City

Cape Town City secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Chippa United in their clash held at Buffalo City Stadium in East London.

The tightly contested encounter saw limited scoring opportunities, with both teams displaying disciplined defensive setups.

His clinical finish capitalised on a rare lapse in Chippa's defence, securing a valuable three points for the visitors.

Despite Chippa's late efforts to equalise, Cape Town City's defence, marshalled effectively by goalkeeper Darren Keet, held firm.

SuperSport United 1-0 Magesi

SuperSport United edged past Magesi FC with a narrow 1-0 victory at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville.

The decisive moment came in the second half when a composed finish by Bradley Grobler broke the deadlock in what was otherwise a tightly contested match.

Both teams created opportunities but struggled to convert their chances, with the match characterised by disciplined defensive displays and sporadic attacking bursts.

SuperSport United maintained a greater share of possession and created more chances, ultimately finding the breakthrough to secure three vital points.

Golden Arrows 0-1 Richards Bay

In a closely fought match, Richards Bay FC edged out Golden Arrows with a solitary goal, securing a 1-0 victory.

The first half ended without any goals, marked by cautious play and several fouls from both sides.

The breakthrough came in the 75th minute when Lindokuhle Zikhali found the net, assisted by a header from Yamela Mbuthuma, giving Richards Bay the lead.

Golden Arrows had their chances, notably when Blessing Andile Mchunu hit the post in the 67th minute, and Ryan Moon missed a header in stoppage time.

Despite these opportunities, Golden Arrows couldn't convert, with their efforts in the last moments of the game thwarted by Richards Bay's resolute defense.
