CAF Champions League: Raja top group as Hamza Khabba bags brace against Simba

Hamza Khabba scored a brace for Raja as the Moroccan side topped Group C with 16 points, seven points ahead of Simba, who also progressed to the quarter-finals.

Raja had a mostly successful group stage with five victories and a draw, but were held to a 1-1 draw by Vipers SC last week.

While dominant at home, Raja only managed to break the deadlock just before half-time when Khabba scored.

Simba equalized early in the second half through John Beleke, but Raja regained their lead with Khabba's penalty before Mohamed Boulacsou sealed the deal.

Simba attempted to stage a comeback, but were ultimately unsuccessful.
