The Confederation of African Football revealed that the tournament's qualifiers will commence next month, with the initial round set for 25-27 October.
In a statement, CAF highlighted that while the exact stadiums and venues will be disclosed later, preparations are already underway.
CAF president Patrice Motsepe recently inspected some of the Kenyan venues earmarked for the tournament.
"We have observed the significant progress and dedication of the Kenyan Government," Motsepe remarked.
"However, it is crucial for everyone involved to collaborate swiftly to ensure all venues and facilities are fully prepared."
CHAN is unique in that it exclusively features players from domestic leagues within their own countries, underscoring its role in fostering local talent and enhancing domestic football.
The previous tournament, held in Algiers in 2022, saw Senegal clinch the title, overcoming hosts Algeria in a dramatic penalty shootout final.
Meanwhile, there was no confirmation from the CAF Executive Meeting of the hosts of the 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, as anticipated by SAFA president Danny Jordaan.
