Hojlund joined the Red Devils in August and announced his arrival as an important player for the club as he scored two remarkable goals against Galatasaray in the Champions League.
Eriksen has praised Hojlund's enthusiasm and skill set, and is excited to see the young forward grow in stature as United aim to get their season back on track.
"I think Rasmus has been a wise purchase. He's a guy who fits into the squad, fits into the way of playing, understands the coach's ideas, and he's a good guy who works hard," Eriksen told reporters.
Asked how the 20-year-old can still improve, Eriksen added: "He could score a few more goals! He is very mature in his approach to things.
"Of course, he sometimes says some things that are... youth things, but he has his head in the right place."
Hojlund is yet to score his first Premier League goal, but has already netted three in his two Champions League appearances.
