Lorch posted a video of himself appearing intoxicated and dancing with two women to celebrate the club’s DStv Premiership title win last weekend, and the coach had earlier expressed his disappointment.
The 30-year-old will not face his former team Orlando Pirates in Mbombela, news confirmed by Mokwena on Thursday.
"On Lorch, is he available for Saturday? No. He's not available for Saturday and these types of things and I say this to you guys all the time, when it comes to players, you will get no negative word from me. I always protect my players in the media," Mokwena said.
Speaking on Metro FM on Monday night, Mokwena was a lot more elaborative in discussing the incident and the expected code of conduct.
But a few days later he said he preferred to keep any conversations private.
"The space where I am open and honest with them is when I close my office and I have a face-to-face conversation with them and so you are not gonna hear anything about Lorch from me today," the coach added.

Mokwena further revealed that Lorch was due to undergo surgery.
"No, he's injured but he has been removed from the group, yes. He got injured against Stellies in Cape Town and he might have to undergo surgery. I mean it's the last game of the season, so it might be that the season is done for him, unfortunately."
