The experienced goal minder was speaking ahead of next week’s MTN8 semi-final first leg clash against Orlando Pirates at the DHL Stadium.
Keet insisted their narrow win over Sekhukhune in the quarter-finals was far from a true reflection of what coach Eric Tinkler’s side is capable of.
"At training and everything we've done so far has been brilliant – we went to Polokwane and played on a disaster of a pitch, which wasn't ideal, so to be honest the viewing wasn't the best," said Keet.
"But we did the job we needed to do and we've come back to training and continued the good work, and what's been good is there's been an improvement since then also.
"So we keep improving and, as everyone has said, we've actually put together a decent squad this season and we're actually looking forward to the semi-finals and the season ahead, and I think we're prepared for it."
Personally, Keet will approach the Pirates encounter hoping for a clean sheet, especially with the away-goal rule still in place over the two legs.
"Obviously we've spoken about playing at home first, with the most important thing being to get a couple of goals and keep a clean sheet to take away to Orlando," he added.
"Look, it's always going to be a hell of a task, but we're prepared for it, we've got a stable defence and we've got a stable team at the moment, and there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to do it.
"Clean sheets are always vital for keepers, and the rest of the team, so a good clean sheet and a few goals is definitely what we're looking for."
