Dolly: We know how to hurt Pirates

Kaizer Chiefs attacker Keagan Dolly says their main intention in today™s Soweto Derby will be to hurt Orlando Pirates in the vulnerable areas they have identified.

Dolly is most likely to don the captain™s armband for Chiefs in the absence of veteran goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, who has missed the last three matches due to injury.

Pirates, in contrast to Amakhosi, have enjoyed an upturn of form coming into this game, but Dolly is confident they have done their homework.

"Obviously we analyse the opposition, we know Pirates are a good team, they have been doing well and they've got confidence and some of the individuals are doing well for them - scoring goals, creating chances for them," Dolly told the media.

"But I think, at the end of the day, it's about the 11 players on the field and we're analysing and trying to see where we can hurt them, and try to block off wherever they are strong.

"And ja, that's all we can do for now, just prepare well for the game and try to deliver on the day."

FNB Stadium is set to welcome a sold-out crowd this afternoon, which comes with some nerves, especially for the majority of players who have never been involved in a fixture with anywhere close to 90 000 supporters.

"I think everyone's excited and nervous as well because it's a big occasion for most of us. As mentioned, most of us haven't played in a crowd like this in South Africa or even in our careers before," he added.

"But it's not to think too much of the occasion or to think too deep into the occasion - at the end of the day, it's a football match between two teams and we have a job to do."
