Dortmund boss Edin Terzic expects an "intense and close game" against Milan

Borussia Dortmund welcome AC Milan for their first home game of the current Champions League season on Wednesday evening and manager Edin Terzic is predicting a tough encounter.

In the home game against AC Milan, BVB wants to get its first points in the current Champions League season in the difficult Group F, which also includes Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle United.

At the start two weeks ago at PSG, the Black and Yellows lost 2-0, and on the same day Milan drew 0-0 with Newcastle.

"Milan is a difficult opponent, but we also know that with our boys and the support in this stadium we will have many opportunities to win the game," said Terzic.

"We had imagined the game in Paris differently and we wanted to take something away from it. As a rule, you have to score double digits in the group phase in order to advance to the next round. If you calculate that down, you know how important the home games are."
