Several squad members are reportedly keen on finding new clubs, and their potential exits are heating up as the deadline approaches.
Youssoufa Moukoko, once the club's brightest young prospect, made headlines by debuting for Dortmund's first team just a day after turning 16. However, his progress has stalled recently, and he has struggled for game time.
Moukoko's frustration has led to a clear desire for a move away from Signal Iduna Park. His agent disclosed last month that the striker, now 19, is set on leaving. Although a potential transfer to Olympique Marseille fell through, Moukoko is reportedly close to agreeing on terms with Real Betis.
Nottingham Forest also has remained interested. Given these developments, it seems highly probable that Moukoko will depart Dortmund before the window closes.
Soumaila Coulibaly, another player eager to leave, spent last season on loan at Royal Antwerp, but they chose not to make the move permanent. The centre-back had been linked with a transfer to Real Betis, but that deal also fell through.
With two years remaining on his Dortmund contract, Coulibaly is determined to secure a move before the window shuts. His departure could be crucial for Dortmund as they look to streamline their squad.
US international Gio Reyna has found himself increasingly sidelined. Despite being included in Borussia Dortmund's squad for their DFB-Pokal match against Phonix Lubeck, Reyna did not feature.
With intense competition in midfield and on the wings, opportunities are scarce for the 21-year-old. Media reports indicate that Reyna may not be part of Nuri Sahin's plans this season. Although he has not been linked with any clubs recently, the possibility of an exit remains.
After a disappointing loan spell at Nottingham Forest last season, Reyna's future could hinge on late transfer activity.
In addition to these three, Salih Ozcan and Sebastien Haller are also available for transfer, while Donyell Malen's potential exit remains a topic of speculation.
