Table-topping Mamelodi Sundowns experienced a reality check, succumbing to a 4-0 defeat against Chippa United in the DStv Diski Challenge on Saturday.
This marked the first loss of the season for the Tshwane side, who had previously enjoyed an undefeated streak of 12 matches. The Chilli Boys displayed ruthless efficiency in both halves, leaving the visitors to ponder the emphatic defeat.

Orlando Pirates rebounded from last weekend's setback against SuperSport United, securing a convincing 3-1 win over Cape Town Spurs.
Pirates wasted no time in taking the lead, with Mpumelelo Ndaba creating the opening just three minutes into the match. The seesaw battle saw the Amakhosi regain the lead, only for Sekhukhune to pull level once more. Marks Jordan secured the winner in the dying minutes of regular time, adding to the drama of a thrilling encounter.
Defending champions SuperSport United let a 2-0 lead slip, settling for a 2-2 draw against Royal AM and extending their inconsistent campaign.
United had a comfortable two-goal cushion at halftime, courtesy of goals from Siviwe Magidigidi and Manelis Mazibuko. However, Thwihli Thwahla staged a comeback in the second half, overturning the deficit and denying Matsatsantsa back-to-back defeats.
