Kambindu recently completed a move to Durban and questions over his statistics and potential contribution from Usuthu and other football supporters in KwaZulu-Natal started spreading.
Speaking to the media ahead of their Betway Premiership match-up with Stellenbosch on Thursday, the Namibian promised to do the talking on the pitch.
"That will be there, it's a fact. But all I can say is that, I don't have to say much, other than just show them what value I add to the squad through the dedication and hard work I put in, and the goals as well, and eventually those who don't know me will know me," said Kambindu.
The 31-year-old says he is aware of the expectations from AmaZulu, and acknowledges that failure is not an option and he has to deliver.
"They are a decent squad, I've played them twice now and we drew on both occasions, I think, but they are a good team, so I will be an addition to a good squad and I'll just have to deliver," he added.
Namibia has produced some top players for the Premier Soccer League in the past, while the likes of Peter Shalulile, Deon Hotto, and Riaan Hanamub are all doing well at present.
The Brave Warriors attacker further shared how Riaan Hanamub inspired his move to KwaZulu-Natal, and how exciting it is to share the club with his compatriot.
"To be honest, I felt like being closer to a countryman will also be a boost – it will feel like home, even though you are away [from Namibia].
"And when I came here, he told me, 'This is a big club, all you have to do is just put in the work. Everything is professional, so you just have to do your best and everything will fall into place," he concluded.
