Agbadou featured in Wolves' 3-0 defeat to Newcastle United last week, following his recent move from French club Stade Reims. The centre-back shared his excitement about competing in what he considers the best league in the world.
"My first one (game) was good, because it's the best league in the world. I knew I was going to appreciate the atmosphere here, but it's even more amazing. It was a good game, it was a good first game, and a tough battle," Agbadou was quoted by Footboom1.com.
"However, in the Premier League, one mistake can lead to a goal. We will learn from this experience for our next game, but I am truly happy to be here."
The defender reflected on the challenges of facing Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, whose performance highlighted the need for Wolves to tighten their defensive approach.
"It's not easy to play against a player like Isak. He played very well and scored a lot of goals. We tried to stop him, but our defensive phases weren't strong enough against such a striker."
The defender praised the competitiveness of the Premier League and emphasised the importance of devising effective strategies to handle top forwards from clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal.
Looking ahead to Wolves' upcoming match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday, Agbadou stressed the need to focus on their own performance and make necessary adjustments.
"Now is not the time to ponder too many questions. We need to focus on winning the game and employ various strategies to achieve that. Yes, it's a significant match against a strong team this season, but we must prioritize our own performance. Improving on elements from our last match will undoubtedly benefit us moving forward," he concluded.
