The 17-year-old midfielder joined the club in May 2015 and has progressed through the Arsenal academy, where he has so far scored 14 goals in 14 appearances across all competitions this season.
He made his first senior appearance for the Gunners in September 2022 at the age of 15 against Brentford and featured as a substitute in the 6-0 win against West Ham last month.
More recently, Nwaneri helped England book their place in the under-17 Euros and scored in all three of their qualifiers over the international break.
Arsenal academy manager Per Mertesacker said: "We are extremely proud of Ethan and his journey, from pre-academy to Hale End, then a seamless transition to Sobha Realty Training Centre and then making his first-team debut.
"Ethan's journey now continues, and we will all be there alongside him to support his development. Ethan has a strong ability to master the ball and dominate possession, this is what we are all about at Arsenal.
"He is someone that will thrive on and off the pitch, he is a strong young Gunner and we look forward to working with him during his ongoing development in the years to come."
