The two nations face off in the second of two international friendly games at Stade Lar Dior at 7pm South African time. In the first outing at the same venue, the clash ended in a 1-all draw after Nthabiseng Majiya had given the visitors the lead before it was cancelled in referee’s optional time. Biyana says it would be a good feeling to return home victorious.
''You can expect a better performance, a much improved performance, expect us to play at high intensity than we did in the first game, move the ball quicker. We are hoping for a positive result, a win will be nice for us, especially for the new players. We will definitely give our best,'' said Biyana.
Banyana Banyana were in the wars against a physical Senegal in the first match and Biyana says it was more than they expected, but now they are better prepared.
''It was a very physical game, we did expect them to be physical but not as physical as they were in that game. But we are now more prepared, we know how physical they are. I think it is more important to return in high spirit, we have to move the ball quicker,'' added Biyana.
Senegal was awarded a penalty in the dying minutes of the game after the Banyana Banyana players were adjudged to have committed a foul in the box, but Biyana believes it was a harsh decision.
On the overall, Biyana, who came on in the second half, says despite the draw they gave a good account of themselves against Senegal, taking into consideration several factors including long travel.
