Magoola had been the subject of speculation over his next destination, having impressed since joining The Natal Rich Boys in July 2022 shortly following their promotion to the DStv Premiership under then coach Pitso Dladla.
In his debut season with Richards Bay then, the goalkeeper missed just three league matches and was mentioned as a possible candidate for the end of year awards until his team struggled for form in the second half of the campaign.
Although the KwaZulu-Natal based outfit only just secured their topflight status on Wednesday by beating Baroka FC 4-0 in the play-offs, Magoola was still the first choice keeper and featured in a total 31 games.
Reports had previously linked the goalie with a possible move to one of the Gauteng clubs prior to the player committing his future with The Natal Rich Boys.
A new deal does not necessarily suggest a transfer is off the table, but affirms that should Richards Bay want to sell Magoola then any interested party would have to agree terms with his employers to get it over the line.
Magoola could have added a few more matches to his overall total this season, but due to his religious beliefs the player asked to be excused from playing in the Carling Black Label Cup late last year.
As a result he was not part of the squad against Moroka Swallows in the opening round of the tournament, then the quarterfinal clash with Orlando Pirates as well as the semifinals against Stellenbosch FC.
